History of The American Legion Sons

The Sons of The American Legion (SAL) founded in 1932 as part of The American Legion. It includes boys and men whose parents or grandparents served in the military, working alongside The American Legion and The Auxiliary as the Legion Family. Together, they focus on preserving traditions, supporting children, and caring for veterans. The SAL provides programs like "The Ten Ideals," teaching values such as patriotism and honor, which help members grow within the organization.
